wish you were here
So, I bought a McDonald's Big Mac value meal the other weekend, mostly so I could get a free song download from www.connect.com. After some deliberation, I decided to download Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here," with the hopes that I can learn to sing/play it well.
The song makes me think of Tara, and it expresses my thoughts toward her right now.... and wonderfully enough, she will be here in a couple of hours.
Weekends are great. Too bad life gets in the way.

it's tough... but "life" doesn't have to be the stuff to just get through - it can also be the cream in the middle. soon enough, you're going to be *very* distracted from wishing anything - you'll be neck-deep in stuff that really matters.
a good song to pick, David. reminds me of my Daddy, and that's *all* good. I like that it's becoming less and less of a past song and more and more of a future song. =)
